Mohonk Mountain House
• Date: Wednesday, October 8
• Fee: $190 per person

• Registration ends: Sunday, September 7, at 4:00 pm
• Please note: No refunds will be issued after Sunday, September 7, unless your seat can be filled by someone on the waiting list
• Departure from Islip Library’s parking lot: 8:00 am
• Approximate return time: 6:30 pm
Itinerary:
• Take a trip to upstate New York’s scenic Hudson Valley to the Mohonk Mountain House, a seven-story Victorian castle
built on spectacular cliffs above Lake Mohonk, surrounded by thousands of acres of pristine forest and winding trails.
• 11:30 am: Enjoy a delicious hot and cold buffet luncheon while taking on exquisite views.
• Take a walk on the beautiful trails with sweeping vistas, or
take a self-guided tour of the Barn Museum, Greenhouse, and Gardens.
• Walk along a trail to Sky Top Tower where on a clear day, you can see six states including New York, Massachusetts,
Vermont, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania
